[Remote] Localization Project Manager - EMEA

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Translated is looking for an experienced Localization Project Manager to work with one of their top Enterprise clients. This role will support the localization team and work across large and diverse teams to drive the execution of the client's localization program, ensuring timely delivery of localized assets.

Responsibilities

• Help drive our localization execution of requests, including tools and processes, quality assurance, and scalability
• Support on-time and on-budget delivery of localization requests, coordinating with internal stakeholders and agencies
• Ensure that our user experience stems from a truly global perspective and supports a positive brand experience
• Build partnerships with key functions, including Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Support teams. Help identify opportunities to increase a scaled localization mindset across the company
• Continuously improve the international go-to-market & launch process to meet current business needs and to scale to future requirements

Skills

• 3+ years of work experience in localization and/or internationalization. Ideally, on both the agency and the client side
• Experience in working with different translation/CAT/content management tools. Detailed understanding of translation technologies, platforms and processes
• Operational experience with an ability to translate complex ideas into simple and intuitive communications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to build relationships cross-functionally and manage stakeholder expectations
• Proactive attitude with experience in working effectively cross-functionally and cross-culturally, across different time zones
• Curiosity for language, culture, regional nuance, and the desire to continually build empathy for our customers and teams outside of the US
