[Remote] 3E Configuration Consultant

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Morae is seeking an experienced 3E Configuration Consultant to support the implementation and optimization of the 3E Practice Management platform. The role involves configuring the system, gathering requirements, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure successful deployment of 3E modules.

Responsibilities

• Configure and customize 3E applications to meet business and operational requirements
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders
• Design and implement solutions across 3E modules including Finance, Billing, Matter Management, Time Entry, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger
• Configure workflows, security roles, business rules, validation logic, and user interfaces
• Support data migration, data validation, and system integration activities
• Collaborate with technical teams on custom development, interfaces, and reporting requirements
• Conduct system testing, defect resolution, and user acceptance testing (UAT) support
• Provide configuration documentation, process documentation, and knowledge transfer to business users
• Support upgrades, patches, and platform enhancements
• Troubleshoot configuration-related issues and recommend corrective actions
• Participate in project planning, estimation, and implementation activities
• Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement recommendations

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience working with the 3E Practice Management system
• Hands-on experience configuring and supporting 3E modules
• Strong understanding of professional services or legal industry business processes
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements
• Knowledge of finance and billing processes within professional services organizations
• Experience supporting software implementation or transformation projects
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
• Experience with 3E Cloud implementations
• Knowledge of SQL and database concepts
• Experience with 3E APIs, integrations, and reporting tools
• Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall
• Experience working in law firms or professional services environments
• Understanding of financial systems, accounting principles, and revenue management processes
