[Remote] Lead Architect (Healthcare Domain/web and mobile platforms.)(15+ Years)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Dice is seeking a Lead Architect to drive architecture for their Digital member-facing web and mobile platforms in the healthcare domain. This role involves acting as the primary technical authority for key areas such as Claims, Spending, and Secure Messaging, ensuring scalable and compliant solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own one to two domains deeply (e.g., Claims, Benefits, Messaging), acting as the primary technical authority
• Support multiple domains broadly, partnering with other architects and SMEs
• Drive both feature-level solutioning and long-term domain strategy (north star)
• Ensure systems scale across client (web/mobile), API, and backend service layers
• Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Architecture, Security, and external teams to deliver scalable, compliant, and high-quality solutions on AWS-based platforms

Skills

• 15+ Years of experience
• Experience in one or more of Healthcare: Claims, Benefits, Accumulators, Messaging/Chat
• Mobile and Web Microservices Architecture
• AWS
• Experience evaluating or implementing AI/LLM solutions (e.g., Bedrock, model integrations)
• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Document DB, etc.)
• Strong experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, CDC patterns)
• Experience in one or more of: Claims, Benefits, Accumulators, Messaging/Chat
• Familiarity with API gateway patterns, caching strategies, event-driven systems
• Experience with caching strategies
