[Remote] Account Executive (Remote)

West Coast Careers is an innovative advertising technology company that helps brands, agencies, and sellers maximize performance across retail media channels. They are seeking an experienced Account Executive to focus on closing new business opportunities within the retail media ecosystem, particularly in Amazon Ads.
Responsibilities
- Drive new business acquisition through proactive prospecting and outbound outreach
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through contract negotiation and close
- Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations for senior decision-makers and C-level stakeholders
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of retail media trends, Amazon advertising solutions, and the competitive landscape
- Position yourself as a trusted advisor to brands and agencies seeking innovative advertising solutions
- Consistently achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through a combination of inbound opportunities and self-generated leads
- Maintain accurate and timely CRM documentation and forecasting
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, customer success, and leadership teams to ensure a seamless client experience
- Identify emerging market opportunities and provide feedback to internal stakeholders
Skills
- Previous Amazon Ads experience is required
- Experience working within Amazon Ads, retail media, ad tech, ecommerce technology, or related industries is required
- Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- Strong understanding of digital advertising solutions, including paid search, display, video, and retail media strategies
- Excellent consultative selling, active listening, and relationship-building skills
- Strong negotiation and presentation abilities
- Experience using CRM systems and sales productivity tools
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- 3+ years of SaaS, ad tech, or technology sales experience preferred
- 2+ years of outbound prospecting and new business development experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred
