[Remote] Audit Accountant - Remote
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The Salters Group is a modern, generalist CPA firm supporting high-net-worth individuals and closely held businesses with audit, assurance, and advisory services. They are seeking Remote Audit Accountants at various levels to assist with and lead audits, manage client relationships, and develop team members.
Responsibilities
- Assist with audit fieldwork and testing (cash, revenue, AP/AR, payroll, etc.)
- Prepare workpapers and support audit documentation
- Learn engagement processes and client communication
- Lead audits from planning through completion
- Review staff workpapers and coach junior team members
- Handle more complex areas and client-facing communication
- Manage a portfolio of audit clients and oversee multiple engagements
- Drive audit strategy, risk assessment, and quality control
- Build and develop the team; strengthen client relationships
Skills
- Manager: CPA required + recent public accounting audit experience
- Staff/Senior: public accounting audit experience
- CPA preferred for Staff/Senior
