[Remote] Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Pinnacle Technology is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer specializing in gas turbine components. The role involves performing advanced analysis and ensuring the reliability and availability of these components through data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-fidelity finite element analysis (FEA) under thermal and mechanical conditions
• Conduct life assessments: LCF/HCF, creep, oxidation, and fracture mechanics
• Execute dynamic analyses (modal, forced response) and develop Campbell diagrams
• Lead/support root cause analysis (RCA) and provide urgent field engineering support
• Communicate complex technical findings clearly for design reviews

Skills

• B.S. in Mechanical/Aerospace (M.S. preferred)
• 4+ years in design, FEA (ANSYS), and NX CAD
• Experience with RCA, GD&T, engineering drawings, stackups
• Familiarity with PLM/Teamcenter tools
• Strong communication and teamwork skills (global/service environment)
• Must be a US person (export-controlled materials)
