They are seeking a Data Scientist to manage analytical projects, conduct data analysis, and develop strategic recommendations for healthcare initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Create efficient SQL queries and conduct initial data analysis to identify patterns within clinical and membership data
- Manage the full cycle of analytical projects, from understanding business needs to delivering definitive solutions
- Combine data from various sources to develop strategic recommendations for healthcare initiatives
- Collaborate with data teams to develop analytical tools and insights that impact program performance
- Present findings clearly, tailoring communication to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Skills
- Over 7+ years of required: Need Data Scientist, not Analyst
- Experience with SQL and statistical programming languages such as Python or R
- Proven ability to analyze large datasets and draw actionable insights
- Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques, including experimentation methods like A/B testing
- Strong storytelling skills for communicating complex results effectively
- Prior experience in healthcare or related fields is preferred
