[Remote] Deployment Project Manager

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Encore Talent Solutions is currently seeking a Project Manager - Deployment for a full-time remote position. The Project Manager oversees the successful deployment of various IT solutions across multiple business units, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and managing all aspects of the deployment lifecycle.


Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of IT projects, ensuring the project meets goals, timelines, and budgets
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for leadership within each business unit, deployment teams, vendors, and other key stakeholders
  • Develop and execute a change management strategy to drive adoption, reduce resistance, and ensure smooth transitions across the organization
  • Collaborate with vendors and ensure their activities align with project objectives and contractual obligations
  • Work closely with technical deployment engineers, on-site deployment technicians, and other deployment resources to guarantee technical implementation meets requirements
  • Design and oversee technical proof of concept initiatives and pilot phases to validate deployment strategies and ensure alignment with business needs
  • Deliver weekly and monthly status reports to project leadership and stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and proposed mitigations
  • Identify potential risks or issues, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate as necessary to leadership

Skills

  • Strong project management experience, including large-scale IT deployment projects
  • Microsoft Azure and M365 implementations, focusing on cross-functional deployments
  • Proven experience in vendor management and coordination
  • Strong ability to present security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Align security initiatives with business and IT strategies
  • Guide teams in implementing best practices for clinical operations
  • Maintain strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong ability to mentor and guide development teams, fostering technical growth and collaboration
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear insights for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Skill in managing multiple projects, prioritizing tasks, and delivering high-quality solutions within deadlines
  • Knowledge of change management principles and methodologies
  • In-depth understanding of cloud computing principles, serverless architectures, and cloud-native development
  • Knowledge of compliance standards and best practices such as NIST, ISO 27001, SOC-2, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and GDPR
  • Passion for staying up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or relevant Azure/M365 certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or M365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
