[Remote] Security Contracts Analyst

They are seeking a dynamic Security Contracts Analyst to ensure the alignment of security contract processes with information security principles, collaborating with legal teams and stakeholders to shape contractual language and minimize risks.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal legal teams, commercial legal, and cross-functional stakeholders to review and enhance contractual language related to information security, data protection, and architecture
- Analyze and assess the implications of proposed contractual terms on ServiceNow's security posture and provide recommendations to mitigate potential risks
- Stay current on ServiceNow architecture, industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to information security and contractual agreements
- Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in an evolving and sometimes ambiguous environment, adapting strategies as needed to address emerging challenges and opportunities
Skills
- Experience in leveraging or experience in critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry
- 5+ years of Information Security Expertise: Proven track record of applying information security principles to contractual language within a corporate setting
- 4+ years of relevant Legal Experience: Experience working in a law firm and/or in-house legal department of a technology company, with a focus on technology contracts and information security
- Comprehensive Understanding of Enterprise IT Industry: In-depth knowledge of the enterprise IT landscape, including SaaS and cloud computing areas, and their associated security implications
- Team Collaboration and Information Sharing: Strong inclination towards teamwork and sharing of information to foster a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment
- Self-Starter with Goal-Oriented Mindset: Demonstrated ability to independently manage priorities, set goals, and meet deadlines in a dynamic and occasionally ambiguous environment
- Excellent Communication Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders
- Certifications (Preferred): Relevant certifications in information security, such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent
