[Remote] Human Resources Paid Consultant - Bonus, Incentive & Commission Administration

LinkedIn is seeking experienced variable pay and incentive compensation professionals for a project-based engagement in their AI Marketplace. The role involves completing a recorded AI-led video interview to explain workflows and decision-making processes related to bonus administration and incentive compensation.
Responsibilities
- Administering bonus or incentive cycles, including fiscal-close triggers, plan data readiness, funding pools, eligibility, and calculation inputs
- Designing and maintaining incentive plans, payout formulas, targets, proration rules, exception handling, and approval workflows
- Managing payroll handoff, calculated-versus-paid reconciliation, audit trails, wage or contract compliance, and payout documentation
- Handling incentive disputes, exception reviews, sales commission divergence, cadence differences, and recurring error patterns
- Explaining workflows specifically within: bonus administration, incentive plan design, variable-pay calculations, sales commission workflows, payroll reconciliation, and payout governance
Skills
- 7+ years in variable pay, incentive compensation, sales compensation, bonus administration, total rewards operations, or compensation program management
- Direct, hands-on experience in bonus administration, incentive plan design, variable-pay calculations, sales commission workflows, payroll reconciliation, and payout governance
- Experience making or influencing decisions related to funding factors, eligibility rules, payout calculations, proration, exceptions, approvals, payroll reconciliation, dispute resolution, and compliance documentation
- Familiarity with tools such as: Xactly, Varicent, CaptivateIQ, Spiff, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, Excel, Salesforce, Power BI, Tableau, payroll systems
- Strong ability to clearly explain workflows, decisions, and reasoning
- Experience owning or directly executing these workflows in a real production environment
- Experience working cross-functionally with HR, legal, payroll, finance, HRIS, business leaders, people managers, or compensation committee stakeholders as relevant to the workflow
