[Remote] Senior Analyst

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Codeword is a communication agency that helps brands create breakthrough comms, content, and community experiences. The Senior Analyst will support data analysis and reporting for the Energy and Power team, maintaining quantitative models and preparing actionable reports and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, improve, and develop quantitative models & frameworks to evaluate financial and operational metrics
• Conduct data analytics requests, in consultation with clients and other internal team leads
• Create reports, summaries, and presentations to highlight strategic insights that are compelling and actionable
• Identify or build data pipelines to support analysis
• Coordinate and organize manual data or feedback from internal and external stakeholders – including data entry into relevant databases
• Perform data quality assurance and control processes – including coordinating across multiple stakeholders to address data errors or inconsistencies

Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data management & analysis within the energy industry
• A Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (Business Administration, Statistics, Economics), or the equivalent combination of education and experience, is required
• Detail-oriented
• Successful track record managing multiple work streams and varied projects
• Very strong communicator and excels in working with a variety of stakeholders
• Proficient with Google Suite (e.g., Sheets) and familiarity with SQL (Python a plus)
• Experience in the energy sector is a must for this role
