Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Dice is seeking a highly skilled Hardware Asset Management Engineer with expertise in ServiceNow. This role will focus on optimizing hardware asset lifecycle processes and ensuring integration across enterprise systems, specifically utilizing the Yokohama release.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and support recent ServiceNow HAM implementation efforts, including configuration, customization, and deployment on the Yokohama release
  • Design and develop HAM workflows, business rules, and integrations to support hardware lifecycle management
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions aligned with best practices
  • Ensure data accuracy and compliance across the CMDB and HAM modules
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to HAM functionality, performance, and integrations
  • Stay up-to-date with ServiceNow platform enhancements, especially those introduced in the Yokohama release
  • Provide documentation, training, and support to end users and technical teams

Skills

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • 10+ years of ServiceNow development experience, with a strong focus on Hardware Asset Management
  • Proven track record of recent HAM implementation on the Yokohama release
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow scripting
  • Experience with CMDB, Discovery, and integration with third-party asset tools
  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes and asset lifecycle management
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator; HAM certification strongly preferred
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow Flow Designer and IntegrationHub
  • Knowledge of software asset management (SAM) and IT operations
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
