[Remote] District Sales Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Cornerstone Building Brands is a leading manufacturer of exterior building products for residential and non-residential buildings in North America. They are seeking a District Sales Manager to drive profitable growth and market development in the California Market, focusing on direct sales to contractors and implementing strategic market plans.
Responsibilities
- Report to the Regional Manager and will be responsible for the profitable growth and market development of the territory
- Supports the components division including MBCI and Metal Sales Brands
- Positioned within MBCI’s Commercial Roof & Wall segment, with direct sales to sub-contractors, general contractors & roofing contractors
- Develops and implements market plans that include customer analysis, competitive insights, growth opportunities, and revenue goals
- Comprehensive understanding of all products and systems offered by Cornerstone Building Brands in the market
- Demonstrates a complete understanding of key customer’s business and the critical measures that drive each account
- Works effectively and collaboratively with all Cornerstone Building Brands internal departments to ensure customer experience is optimized and efficient
- Ability to work with Operating Systems
Skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and maintain positive relationships with all CBB associates, customers, subsidiaries, agents and sales force
- Must be flexible to maximize business opportunities as they arise
- Must possess a minimum of 8 years of proven sales/marketing and/or sales management experience
- Experience in commercial construction and/or building materials
- Ability to analyze market conditions and competition and develop strategic responses to opportunities
- Strong understanding of Marketing, Finance, and Operations
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment is essential
- Must be able to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to travel 50% - 60% of the time (2-3 overnights a week)
- Pre-engineered metal buildings experience is preferred
