[Remote] Security Solutions Consultant (Quota Carrying Sales Role)

Pax8 is a fast-growing, dynamic organization focused on cloud products, and they are seeking a Security Solutions Consultant to drive cloud security SaaS growth. In this remote, quota-carrying sales role, you will qualify leads, provide consultative guidance, and maintain a healthy sales pipeline while collaborating with Solutions Engineers.
Responsibilities
- Qualify and respond to inbound interest from partners via video, phone, and email — keeping engagement high
- Use creativity and persistence to generate demand, follow up with existing leads, and uncover new opportunities
- Provide consultative guidance, tailored demos, and expert insights to help MSPs understand our security offerings
- Work closely with Solutions Engineers on complex opportunities to get deals across the line
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline, track opportunities in Salesforce, and consistently hit or exceed your quota
- Assist with escalations and post-sale support by collaborating with our Service Delivery team
- Stay ahead of security trends, threats, and partner needs across CIS controls, NOC/SOC, ZTNA, and beyond
Skills
- Proven success in quota-carrying sales roles within B2B, SaaS, or channel environments
- Demonstrated ability to consistently perform at a high level in a target-driven setting
- Substantial knowledge of cloud platforms, SaaS solutions, and modern security concepts
- Confidence translating technical capability into clear, compelling business outcomes
- Experience managing pipeline and relationships using CRM and professional networking tools
- Strong communication skills, emotional intelligence, and a consultative mindset
- Commitment to achieving CompTIA Security+ certification within your first year (supported by Pax8)
