[Remote] Sales Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Finout is a rapidly growing startup focused on helping companies manage their cloud expenses more effectively. They are seeking a highly technical Sales Engineer to assist prospective customers across various industries, collaborating closely with account executives and leading the technical aspects of the sales cycle.
Responsibilities
- Assist with technical discovery & qualification early in the sales process
- Craft demos that translate functional capabilities into business value for our prospects
- Collaborate with AEs on best approach to sales cycles
- Own the technical portion of the sales cycle in guiding our prospects through structured, milestone-driven proofs of concept, leading to a technical win
- Ensure successful transition to post-sales through effective internal knowledge sharing
- Maintain and upskill your own industry expertise and knowledge of the competitive landscape
- Embody the voice of the customer with Product Management in helping steer the product roadmap
Skills
- Have 3-5 years of experience in a technical pre-sales role
- Python as a second language
- Love that at a startup great impact comes with great responsibility
- Comfortable speaking to rooms of mixed-responsibility stakeholders among finance, FinOps, developers, SREs, and executives
- Passionate about discovering prospects' business challenges and what they need to overcome them
- Eternally curious, more eager to learn than teach
- Cringe when hearing someone say 'that's not part of my job description'
