Key Responsibilities

  • Live Chat Support: Provide real‑time assistance to internal stakeholders and external partners via live chat, ensuring timely and accurate data entry for survey responses.
  • Data Capture & Validation: Accurately record, clean, and validate large volumes of survey data across multiple languages and regions, maintaining a 99.9% data integrity rate.
  • Collaboration with Product & Technical Teams: Work closely with product owners, data engineers, and agile development squads to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Data Modeling & Architecture: Contribute to the design and maintenance of robust data models that support advanced analytics, reporting, and machine‑learning pipelines.
  • Big Data Processing: Leverage Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python to process batch and real‑time data streams, ensuring high‑performance analytics solutions.
  • Automation & Efficiency: Identify repetitive tasks and develop automation scripts (Shell, Python, PySpark) to improve workflow efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Quality Assurance & Testing: Conduct rigorous testing of data pipelines and analytical outputs, performing root‑cause analysis for any discrepancies.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Maintain clear documentation of processes, data dictionaries, and best‑practice guides for internal teams.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively suggest enhancements to data collection methods, reporting tools, and overall customer insight processes.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with Hive/Hadoop ecosystems, PySpark, Python, and shell scripting.
  • Proven track record of working in an agile environment, delivering incremental value in short sprints.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate findings into business‑focused recommendations.
  • Excellent written communication skills, essential for live‑chat interactions and documentation.
  • Experience handling multilingual survey data and familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while staying aligned with cross‑functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.

  • Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Certification in Agile Scrum or Project Management.
  • Previous experience in the financial services or fintech industry.
