Engineer, Data Engineering & Intelligence
Kekst CNC, a division of Publicis Groupe, is seeking an Engineer in Data Engineering & Intelligence to support their business intelligence capabilities. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decision making.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, develop and document data pipeline architecture to support reporting tools
- Support the creation of automated reporting backends with high levels of efficiency and accuracy in BigQuery
- Maintain a functional expertise of the client data, its nature, and documentation
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional team members to understand data needs and develop meaningful solutions
- Contribute to the automation of data quality assurance and data processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Skills
- Detail oriented while keeping sight of the bigger picture
- Highly proficient in SQL and Python
- Prior experience in Google Cloud services such as BigQuery, GCS, Cloud SQL, ML, or similar Cloud services experience
- Experience building and optimizing data pipelines, architectures and data sets
- Experience analyzing data to identify issues and inconsistencies
- Passionate about data and understanding consumer behavior
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Familiarity with version control software (Git), leveraging LLMs and writing technical documentation
- Ability to independently acquire new skills and master new tools
- Proficiency with dbt a strong plus
