Lateral Recruiting Assistant - New York
Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP is an elite international law firm seeking an entry-level Lateral Recruiting Assistant in their New York office. The role involves supporting the Chief of Planning and Culture officer with partner and counsel recruitment and onboarding processes, while fostering a collaborative and professional environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with lateral partner and counsel recruitment processes, including
- Data entry
- Assisting with scheduling meetings
- Assist with organizing onboarding processes for new joiners, including scheduling orientation meetings
- Coordinating with various internal departments at the firm
- Executing long-term integration efforts for each hire
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills
- Bachelor's degree required
- One year of working experience preferred
- Strong administrative, analytical, and researching skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills, organizational skills, and a strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage various projects with limited supervision and work well under pressure
- Ability to communicate with individuals of all levels within the firm and clients in a courteous and professional manner
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Ability to exercise discretion and good judgment
- Ability to maintain confidential information at all times
- Ability to work overtime as needed to meet business needs
- One year of working experience preferred
