Front-end Full Stack Developer
CGI is a leading IT and business consulting services firm, and they are seeking a Front-end Full Stack Developer to join their Agile team. The role involves designing and building user-centric web applications, collaborating with various stakeholders, and ensuring best practices in coding and deployment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Implement and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services (.NET Core, Node.js)
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to deliver user-centric, accessible interfaces (Section 508 compliance)
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) and contribute to backlog refinement
- Conduct code reviews, implement automated testing, and ensure secure coding practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the full stack (front-end, back-end, database)
- Support CI/CD pipeline deployments using Azure DevOps and Git
- Document technical solutions, workflows, and user guides
- Engage in continuous learning and skill development through mentorship, training, and peer collaboration
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
- 0–5 years of professional experience in front-end and full stack web development
- Proficiency in Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, SQL Server/Sybase, and database integration
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps)
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and participation in Agile teams
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and automated testing frameworks (Selenium, NUnit)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Eligibility for federal background investigation and compliance with security requirements (U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency with 3+ years residency)
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
- Experience with .NET Core or Node.js for backend development
- Familiarity with Section 508 accessibility standards and inclusive design
- Exposure to DevSecOps practices and tools (SonarQube, Qualys, PowerShell)
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale applications in regulated environments
- Certifications in Agile, Scrum, or relevant technical areas
