We are looking for a motivated Software Developer to join our team and help build and improve our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) platform. In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-quality software that supports healthcare professionals, patients, and internal teams. What You'll Do
Collaborate with Product, Development, and DevOps teams to design, develop, and maintain features for our EMR platform built with Ruby on Rails. Contribute to improving and maintaining our automated testing infrastructure, helping ensure stability, performance, and code quality across the platform. Participate actively in Agile Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives, contributing ideas and solutions. Write and maintain clear technical documentation to support ongoing development and knowledge sharing. Help identify opportunities to improve system performance, developer workflows, and overall product quality. Report to the Development Team Lead What We’re Looking For At least 5 years of experience developing general web applications. At least 5 years experience working in Agile development environments. Strong understanding of SOLID principles, testing practices, and version control (Git). Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and a willingness to share knowledge with teammates. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have
Experience working with EMR, healthcare software, or regulated environments. Experience with full stack Ruby on Rails (including turbo + hotwire) Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices (OpenTofu/Terraform, AWS). Experience improving automated testing frameworks (rspec, playwright) Experience working with modern JavaScript frameworks or front-end technologies.
