ETD Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator Work Location: Telecommute except for a mandatory in person training at the WellMed Corp office in San Antonio, TX. Must be able to attend a ½ day Saturday training (TBD based on start date) at the WellMed Corp office near The Rim Hours: This is part time work, 15-20 hours a week. No set hours, focused on progress on the project vs working core hours. We need 6 part time people to work after hours. Project: We are migrating from the old Learning Management System (LMS) over 1,700 objects to the new myLearning LMS. We have to download the old content and upload it into the new environment. Team: 3 LMS Admins (full time) 1 Quality Analyst and 2 Training Coordinators plus team manager/director. Responsibilities: Downloading SCORM files, naming them properly, placing them in a holding drive, taking SCORM files and uploading them to the new LMS and insuring that the files are placed and coded properly.

  • Acts on priorities and sticks to tasks, while keeping others informed of progress• Demonstrates responsiveness by conveying critical information to decision makers• Confirms and maintains timeline for deliverables• Demonstrates energy for what needs to be done and for overcoming challenges• Holds themselves and the team accountable for achieving goals• Identifies correct knowledge documents, SOP, job aids and support materials• Can apply functional knowledge and skills to tasks and problems• Documents in detail troubleshooting steps, tasks completed and status of tasks• Understands security risks & implications of acting outside of scope and authority• Obtain the facts and information needed to collaboratively arrive at the optimal outcome• Solicits feedback on the quality of the delivery• Understands the basic functions of a Learning Management System• Experience with cloud based systems• Comply with all required policies, regulations and procedures

Ideal Background: Understands education, technology and LMS’s. They don’t have to know the exact platforms we are working in, just the concept of an LMS and how important it is to have everything accurate in the details. Required: Education background, technology and learning management systems experience 3 years.
