Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Advocacy & Support: Provide proactive, high‑quality technical assistance to Azure customers across multiple support channels (phone, chat, email, and community forums). Act as the trusted voice of arenaflex, ensuring each interaction leaves the customer more confident and satisfied.
  • Deep Technical Engagement: Dive into Azure services at a Level 200‑300 depth (Compute, Storage, Networking, Identity, Web Apps, etc.) to diagnose issues, recommend best practices, and guide customers through complex deployments.
  • Feedback Loop Creation: Capture recurring pain points, feature requests, and emerging trends. Collaborate closely with Azure product and engineering teams to prioritize bug fixes, accelerate feature development, and improve overall supportability.
  • Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to streamline support workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and enhance tooling. Champion initiatives that turn support tickets into learning opportunities for both customers and internal teams.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Author and maintain clear, concise product documentation, troubleshooting guides, and best‑practice articles that empower customers to self‑serve and succeed.
  • Cross‑Team Collaboration: Build strong relationships with service‑area owners, feature engineering groups, and senior leadership to ensure seamless escalation handling and rapid resolution of critical incidents.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in the software or technology industry, or an equivalent combination of education and hands‑on experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Strong problem‑solving instincts, curiosity, and a customer‑obsessed mindset.

Preferred Qualifications & Technical Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in software development, cloud operations, or technical support.
  • 1 + year of direct customer‑facing experience, preferably in a cloud‑focused environment.
  • Proficiency with one or more automation or scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, C#, or open‑source alternatives.
  • Relevant certifications in arenaflex Cloud, Azure, or competing cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
  • Hands‑on expertise with core Azure components, including:
    • Compute (Virtual Machines, Azure Functions, Containers)
    • Storage (Blob, Disk, Files)
    • Networking (Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, VPN Gateway)
    • Web Apps (IIS, Azure Web Apps, Apache, Tomcat, WordPress, PHP)
    • Identity & Authentication (Azure AD, SSO, Federation)
  • Solid understanding of both Windows and Linux operating environments, with the ability to troubleshoot cross‑platform issues.
