Why This Role Matters

Data is the lifeblood of any logistics operation. Every shipment, customer interaction, and tracking event generates information that must be captured, verified, and made instantly accessible to teams worldwide. As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will be the guardian of that data, ensuring that the information flowing through our systems is clean, accurate, and actionable. Your work will directly influence operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and the strategic decisions that keep arenaflex ahead of the competition.

Role Overview

This full‑time, hourly‑based position offers a competitive rate of $25 per hour and flexible scheduling options. You will join a collaborative team that values meticulousness, speed, and proactive problem‑solving. Whether you are entering shipment details, updating customer profiles, or reconciling tracking numbers, your contributions will be essential to maintaining the integrity of arenaflex’s data ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurate Data Entry: Input shipment details, customer information, tracking numbers, and related logistics data into arenaflex’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) and customer relationship management (CRM) platforms with a focus on speed and precision.
  • Data Verification & Validation: Cross‑reference incoming data against source documents, carrier manifests, and electronic records to ensure completeness and correctness.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify discrepancies, flag anomalies, and collaborate with operations, customer service, and IT teams to resolve data‑related issues promptly.
  • Process Adherence: Follow established standard operating procedures (SOPs) for data handling, naming conventions, and security protocols to maintain consistency across the organization.
  • Deadline Management: Prioritize daily, weekly, and monthly data entry tasks to meet internal reporting cycles and external compliance deadlines.
  • Continuous Improvement: Suggest enhancements to data entry workflows, templates, and automation tools that can increase efficiency and reduce error rates.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear audit trails, log changes, and generate reports that support internal audits and regulatory compliance.

Essential Qualifications

  • Proven experience (minimum 1‑2 years) in high‑volume data entry, preferably within logistics, transportation, or e‑commerce environments.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a track record of maintaining error rates below industry benchmarks.
  • Strong time‑management skills, including the ability to juggle multiple data streams and meet tight deadlines.
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities to interact with cross‑functional teams and document findings clearly.
  • Comfortable using a variety of software applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and proprietary ERP/CRM systems.
  • Basic understanding of data privacy and security principles, especially as they pertain to customer and shipment information.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with logistics‑specific platforms (e.g., SAP Transportation Management, Oracle Logistics Cloud, or similar).
  • Familiarity with barcode scanning, RFID technology, and automated data capture tools.
  • Certification in data management or a related field (e.g., Certified Data Management Professional).
  • Exposure to process‑automation software such as UiPath, Blue Prism, or Microsoft Power Automate.
  • Previous work in a fast‑paced, shift‑based environment with rotating schedules.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to spot patterns, inconsistencies, and outliers within large data sets.
  • Technical Proficiency: Quick learner of new software interfaces, data entry tools, and reporting dashboards.
  • Collaboration: Works well in team settings, shares knowledge, and supports peers during peak periods.
  • Adaptability: Thrives in a dynamic environment where priorities can shift rapidly based on business needs.
  • Integrity: Handles sensitive information responsibly, adhering to confidentiality and compliance standards.
