Key Responsibilities – Your Day‑to‑Day Impact

In this role, you will be the frontline ambassador for arenaflex, ensuring every interaction is handled with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency. Your core duties will include:

  • Promote and sell air travel: Assist leisure travelers and freight forwarders in selecting the best routes, fares, and ancillary services.
  • Passenger check‑in support: Guide customers through the check‑in process, resolve ticketing issues, and manage load acceptance for cargo shipments.
  • Regulatory interpretation: Apply FAA and international regulations to both domestic and international travel or shipment requests.
  • Flight coordination: Ensure aircraft are dispatched on schedule, monitor gate assignments, and communicate any changes to relevant parties.
  • Issue resolution: Provide timely assistance to distressed passengers, handling complaints, rebooking, and special accommodations.
  • Asset protection: Safeguard company property and revenue by adhering to security protocols and preventing fraud.
  • Safety compliance: Respond to emergency situations, follow internal and external safety procedures, and maintain a secure travel environment.
  • Physical tasks: When required, operate air stairs and assist with boarding and de‑boarding procedures for various aircraft types.
  • Leadership support: Oversee the performance of the work area, mentor junior staff, and coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Passenger Operations Control: Perform air‑to‑floor communications and support tower functions as needed.

Essential Qualifications – What You Need to Succeed

  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Language proficiency: Excellent reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills in English. Bilingual abilities are a plus in select locations.
  • Driver’s license: Valid driver’s license as required by local regulations.
  • Security clearance: Ability to pass FAA background checks and obtain unescorted access to Secure Identification Display Areas (SIDA) when applicable.
  • Physical capability: Ability to perform moderate physical tasks, including lifting, standing for extended periods, and operating air stairs.
  • Availability: Willingness to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays, and to maintain a consistent schedule.
