Position Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail‑oriented Customer Service Representative to become the trusted voice for our dental insurance members and provider partners. In this remote, full‑time role, you will handle a high volume of inbound calls, resolve complex benefit inquiries, and support claims processing—all while upholding arenaflex’s standards of excellence and empathy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer a high volume of inbound phone calls, delivering accurate, courteous information about dental insurance benefits, coverage options, and claim status.
  • Listen actively, ask probing questions, and determine the specific needs, requests, or concerns of members, dental offices, and other stakeholders.
  • Document each interaction meticulously, capturing contact details, nature of the inquiry, and resolution steps in arenaflex’s CRM system.
  • Leverage multiple internal resources—including policy databases, claims portals, and benefit guides—to research and resolve member issues promptly.
  • Assist with claims processing tasks such as claim entry, requesting supplemental information, issuing refund requests, and preparing quarterly statements.
  • Provide knowledgeable support for pre‑tax spending accounts (FSA, HSA, HRA) and other employee benefit programs, including vision, COBRA, and wellness plans.
  • Maintain a consistently positive, professional demeanor, demonstrating tact and empathy on every call.
  • Adhere to performance metrics for call documentation, quality, accuracy, and timeliness, striving to exceed arenaflex’s service standards.
  • Stay current on Release of Information policies, HIPAA regulations, and other compliance requirements, ensuring all work meets legal and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—claims, underwriting, IT, and member services—to resolve escalated issues and improve processes.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
  • Minimum two years of experience in a high‑volume customer service environment, preferably within a call‑center setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast‑paced, structured environments while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong focus on clarity and empathy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and virtual collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or similar platforms.

  • Residency in one of the following states: Kansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Texas, Nebraska, Iowa, or South Dakota.
