Client Service Professional - 401k

The Client Service Professional - 401k role involves delivering exceptional service to clients regarding employer-sponsored retirement plans, utilizing a consultative approach to provide education and solutions. This position offers structured training and support to enhance expertise in retirement products and services.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service to clients through inbound phone calls focused on providing education, solutions, and long-term investing options regarding employer-sponsored retirement plans
• Take a consultative approach with retirement and 401k plan participants, utilizing multiple computer applications and internal resources to offer them world-class solutions
• Attend a structured training program, participate in on-the-job learning, and receive individual coaching and support, with a focus on growing expertise on retirement products and services

Skills

• Ability to work full time on-site during Schwab's training program, followed by a hybrid work schedule
• Ability to work various shifts to serve our clients, with availability Monday-Friday any time between 7:00am to 9:00pm Central Time
• Previous customer service and/or client relationship experience
• Ability to multi-task, with demonstrated success navigating multiple computer applications simultaneously
• Active listening skills along with the ability to engage in open-ended dialogue to gain a thorough understanding of the client's financial needs
• Focused analytical skills and attention to detail to adhere to policies, procedures, and guidelines
• Robust communication, influencing and client engagement skills
• Ability to adapt and implement changes as market and business conditions evolve
• Dedication to resolving a variety of complex client inquiries both through technology-based research and working closely with partners
• Receptive to mentoring and feedback for continuous improvement
• Desire to gain financial licenses such as FINRA Series 7 or 63
