Responsibilities
- Manage a high-volume caseload of collections matters from intake through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, and basic litigation documents
- Appear in court and handle routine proceedings independently
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders
- Maintain organized case files and meet deadlines across multiple matters
Skills
- 1–3 years of litigation experience
- Ability to manage cases independently with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Admitted to practice in New York
- Prior exposure to collections, Housing Court, foreclosure, insurance defense, or other high-volume practice areas is a plus
