Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, a national law firm, is seeking multiple Environmental & Toxic Tort Attorneys/Senior Counsel in its Northern California offices. The role involves handling high stakes litigation, mentoring associates, and working collaboratively to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.

Responsibilities

• Handle high stakes litigation with cutting edge scientific issues
• Take courtroom and deposition skills to the next level
• Write and argue significant motions and make new law
• Work together to achieve the best possible results for clients
• Mentor associates to become the best advocates they can be
• Handle cases with limited supervision

Skills

• Candidates must be licensed in California
• 2 to 8 years of substantive litigation experience (including taking depositions and/or arguing motions in court) in one or more of the following subject areas: CERCLA; RCRA; silica; talc & asbestos; nuisance & trespass; complex litigation; tort and products liability; general environmental and toxic tort
• Candidates must be team players with strong academic credentials
• Candidates must be self-starters who feel ready to handle cases with limited supervision
• Experience in high stakes litigation with cutting edge scientific issues
• Strong experience in litigation
