Associate, Financial Analyst
Capital One Canada is a data-driven tech company focused on customer-first solutions in the credit card industry. The Associate, Financial Analyst will analyze financial metrics, prepare forecasts, and contribute to financial reporting and audits to support business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Work with business teams to analyze financial metrics and performance
- Prepare financial forecasts in support of evolving product and strategy decisions
- Develop reporting and analysis to provide insight into business trends
- Participate in the external financial reporting process, including the external audit process and OSFI reporting
- Prepare accurate and timely reports, schedules and documentation
- Perform financial and operational audits and test controls, and identify efficiencies
Skills
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience
- Will obtain or have obtained a Bachelor's degree or higher
- Strong quantitative, analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills
- Previous summer internship/co-op experience
- Working towards CPA designation
