Junior Analyst - Power Bi Dashboard Developer

StepStone Group is a global private markets specialist delivering tailored investment solutions and data-driven insights. They are seeking a Junior Analyst – Dashboard Development to support the Data and Technology Solutions team by developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and providing insights to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards and reports for both internal and external stakeholders
• Perform dashboard quality assurance testing in accordance with established team guidelines
• Support version control processes and adhere to analytics development best practices
• Manage multiple priorities effectively in a deadline-driven environment
• Develop subject matter expertise in StepStone’s business model, private markets industry, and emerging data analytics trends

Skills

• Prior experience working with data models and business intelligence platforms
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to projects or coursework that added measurable value
• Working knowledge of SQL for data querying and manipulation
• Analytical mindset with a strong commitment to data accuracy, particularly important given the QA responsibilities of this role
• Strong understanding of data modeling, dashboard design, and BI best practices
• Effective communicator, able to clearly document issues, flag discrepancies, and summarize findings for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and adapt to change
• Naturally inquisitive, eager to learn new technologies and industry best practices
• Bachelor's degree in STEM related field preferred but not required
• Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools is a plus
