Lead Data Scientist – Healthcare Analytics

We are recruiting a Lead Data Scientist – Healthcare Analytics (m/f) to strengthen our team in USA working remotely. Key Responsibilities (Summary): Lead the evolution of data-driven healthcare products by identifying opportunities to enhance algorithms, guiding end-to-end model development, and translating outputs into actionable insights that improve patient outcomes. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and health plan stakeholders to align product capabilities with business needs, while establishing frameworks to measure and continuously improve performance. Drive product implementation and client success by building strong partnerships, leading deployments, and ensuring adoption across clients. Act as a strategic advisor, helping customers translate insights into effective interventions, optimizing outcomes, and scaling impact through continuous improvement and measurable business results. What we are looking for: Bachelor's degree in Computer science, Informatics, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field; Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in data science, machine learning, and AI-driven product development; Minimum of 5 years of experience working with teams across health plans, health systems, or similar domains (e.g., pharmacy management, population health, HEOR, finance, actuarial, risk management, or product) to identify problems solvable through data and drive analytics adoption; Minimum of 5 years of experience within health plans, PBMs, health systems, pharmacies, and/or digital health organizations; Minimum of 3 years of experience leading analytics product development, implementation, or client transformation initiatives; Minimum of 2 years of experience in pharmacy and/or medical drug benefit management, with a strong understanding of healthcare economics; Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences; Familiarity with the digital health product landscape across health plans, pharma, and PBMs; Previous startup experience is a plus. Fluent in English (mandatory).
