Job Summary: The Cardiologist (PRN) is a dynamic and flexible individual who is licensed/board certified with experience in noninvasive cardiology and adult echocardiography. This professional will play a key role in providing accurate and high-quality interpretation of echocardiograms. Duties/Responsibilities: Provides excellent cardiovascular care in a remote, outpatient setting Perform accurate interpretation of lab tests echocardiograms. Participates in quality improvement sessions for echocardiography (quarterly) Communicates results of echocardiograms if needed with primary care providers in a timely manner Required Skills/Abilities: Exceptional communication skills to facilitate patient care including ability to foster and cultivate relationships with primary care physicians, center care team members, and staff Extensive knowledge of cardiovascular disease and evidence-based practices and procedures Well-versed in echocardiography guidelines, standards and practices as dictated by the American Society of Echocardiography Personable, tactful, and professional demeanor Comfortable with electronic medical record charting as well as teleconferencing including telehealth patient encounters Ability to work remotely full-time in a HIPAA-compliant setting Education and Experience: MD or DO in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease Board Certified in Adult Echocardiography Current, unrestricted, active license to practice medicine (state flexible) Current DEA registration Proficient PC skills Embodies and serves as a role model of ArchWell Health’s Values: Be compassionate Strive for excellence Earn trust Show respect Stay resilient Always do the right thing About ArchWell Health: At ArchWell Health, we are creating a community of caring designed to help our members stay healthy and engaged.
