Remote Occupational Therapist in GA
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist specializing in telehealth services within a school setting. This role supports students remotely, delivering assessments and therapy to promote their functional skills and educational success. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting telehealth evaluations to identify student needs.
- Developing and implementing individualized intervention plans.
- Collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintaining thorough documentation of sessions and treatment outcomes.
- Ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines for school-based therapy services.
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy licensure in Georgia.
- Experience providing occupational therapy services within a school environment.
- Proficiency in telehealth platforms and remote delivery of therapy.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage students, families, and educational staff.
- Ability to work independently under a 1099 contract arrangement.
