Job Responsibilities

As an Inbound Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Serving as a Patient Advocate: Resolve questions or concerns, providing empathetic and personalized support to patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Collecting and Inputting Patient Data: Accurately collect and input patient data into our e-Intake system, ensuring seamless communication and efficient processing.
  • Verifying Products and Services: Ensure compliance with regulations, verifying products and services to meet customer needs and expectations.
  • Managing High-Volume Inbound Calls: Handle initial intake and assist with CPAP resupply, providing timely and effective support to customers.
  • Providing Basic Technical Assistance: Educate patients on CPAP equipment, providing basic technical assistance and support to ensure successful use and satisfaction.

What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent: A minimum educational requirement, demonstrating your ability to learn and grow with our organization.
  • One to Three Years of Related Work Experience: Proven experience in a team-oriented environment, with a strong customer service background.
  • Basic Computer and Internet Skills: Familiarity with computer systems and internet applications, ensuring seamless communication and data processing.
  • Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license in the state of residence, with a clean driving record (when applicable for the position).

How to Stand Out

While the above qualifications are essential, we're also looking for individuals with:

  • Experience in the Medical Field: A background in medical administration, with knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) or Home Medical Equipment (HME).
  • Knowledge of Billing Reimbursement and Insurance Policies: Familiarity with billing reimbursement and insurance policies, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
  • Medical Terminology Knowledge: Understanding of medical terminology, enabling you to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to Interpret Instructions: The ability to interpret a variety of instructions across different communication mediums, ensuring seamless communication and efficient processing.
