Partnerships Manager - UK/Europe

Remote, USA Full-time Posted 2026-06-14

Oxford Data Plan is seeking a commercially driven Partnerships Manager to join our growing team. This is an individual contributor role suited to a self-starter with a proven track record in data partnerships and business development. The successful candidate will independently source and progress data partnerships through discovery and evaluation, with senior support available during complex negotiations. Over time, the role is expected to develop into one of full deal autonomy. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to make a meaningful contribution within a high-growth, fast-paced environment at the forefront of the alternative data industry.

Key Responsibilities

Source and identify prospective data partners across Oxford Data Plan's core verticals, building and maintaining a robust pipeline of partnership opportunities. Manage prospective partnerships end-to-end through the pipeline, from initial outreach and engagement through to close. Conduct discovery calls and lead early-stage partner conversations to assess strategic fit and commercial potential. Participate in commercial negotiations alongside senior team members, with a clear development path towards handling negotiations independently. Manage and develop active partner relationships, including renewals and expansion opportunities. Contribute to the design and refinement of a scalable partnerships playbook and pipeline infrastructure to support the broader commercial function. Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will bring the following experience and attributes: 3+ years of professional experience overall, with a minimum of 2 years in data partnerships, data sourcing, or business development, ideally within the alternative data ecosystem or adjacent financial data services. Prior experience at an alternative data platform, a financial data provider, or in a data sourcing or business development role at an investment fund or research firm. A demonstrable track record of independently sourcing and progressing data partnerships from initial outreach through to close. Working knowledge of data licensing concepts, including usage rights, Master Service Agreements (MSAs), and common commercial pricing structures. A developing understanding of diverse data types and their mapping to commercial and investable applications. Comfortable operating in a high-growth, start-up environment, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work with appropriate oversight. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the credibility and professionalism to represent Oxford Data Plan in partner-facing conversations. Apply To This Job
