Key Responsibilities:
Virtual Livestream Event Moderation
As a Volunteer Virtual Livestream Event Moderator, you will be responsible for:- Welcoming and energizing the virtual audience during live sessions
- Monitoring and interacting with audience comments in the chat, responding to questions and keeping the energy upbeat
- Sharing event updates, encouraging participation, and maintaining a positive, inclusive environment
- Hosting and moderating livestreamed conversations, panel discussions, and Q&A sessions with performers and speakers
- Guiding one-on-one conversations between audience members and featured guests
- Managing timing and transitions between segments to keep the event on schedule
- Working with the production team to troubleshoot any live communication issues
Audience Engagement and Community Building
As a Volunteer Virtual Livestream Event Moderator, you will also be responsible for:- Fostering a welcoming and supportive virtual space where everyone feels included
- Helping amplify the festival's themes of self-love and resilience by encouraging meaningful dialogue
- Encouraging audience participation and engagement throughout the event

- A team player who can think on their feet and adapt to changing dynamics
- Available to dedicate 5-10 hours per week leading up to the festival and full availability on February 13, 2025
