- Work in collaboration with facility team to assess the needs of the resident
- Comply with federal and state regulations regarding completion and coordination of the MDS process
- Monitor MDS and care plan documentation for all residents
- Ensure documentation is present in the medical record to support MDS coding
- Maintain the frequent and accurate data entry of resident information into appropriate computerized program
- As required, attend team meetings and other meetings in order to gather information, communicate changes, and maintain and update records
- Continually update knowledge base related to data entry and computer technology
- May participate in quality assurance activities as required
- Perform additional duties as assigned Essential For You to Have as a Campbell Street Services MDS Coordinator:
- RN licensure within the state of Kansas, plus a minimum of two years MDS experience in long-term care (Prefer RN but will consider LPN) may be considered with exceptional qualifications or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have current AANAC (RAC-CT) certification or obtain it within 90 days of hire
- Have and continue acceptable Criminal Background report
- Have and continue clean Sex Offender report
- Have and continue clean Child and Adult Protective Service report
- Understand, speak, read, and write English fluently
- Education, experience, and skills to perform required responsibilities
