This mixed role is responsible for building and maintaining robust data platforms to power business intelligence (BI) and in-product reporting tools. You will be a key contributor to our data modernization strategy and ensure the delivery of high-quality, actionable data feeds across our product verticals.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data feeds to support both BI reporting and core product features.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Contribute to the ongoing data platform modernization</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Work on problems of diverse scope, performing deep analysis of data to identify and resolve a wide range of technical issues.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Consistently perform high-quality design, coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting throughout the application development lifecycle.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Maintain and support internal product areas, ensuring stability and performance.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Mentor and proactively assist newer team members and interns, contributing to the team's technical knowledge base.</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">You have at least 3-5 years of experience building modern, scalable, and high-performing backend web applications.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">You have strong communication skills. You ask questions, let others know when you need help, and tell others what you need.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Proficiency in Java, Python, and SQL.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data warehousing concepts (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery are a plus).</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">A seasoned professional with a full understanding of the stack and languages pertaining to data and backend systems.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">You're a problem solver. You believe the best work is the result of finding the simplest solution to complex challenges.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Your code is clean, your designs are elegant and you are constantly refactoring.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">You own your work.
