Puerto Rico Medical Doctor- Cannabis Certifications

Description: Leafwell is looking for medical doctors who would like to join the team and certify patients for medical cannabis. We are open to applications from healthcare providers who are licensed in Puerto Rico who believe in cannabis as medicine. It has the versatility and safety profile to help millions of people and provide a better alternative However, much work needs to be done, and the problems listed above still need solving. Leafwell is working to further the cannabis industry utilizing our platform to: Increase Access Telemedicine allows everyone to receive the health care they need and deserve from the comfort of their home. Patients can speak to a physician and get certified online. Increase Research As more patients are certified, the greater the number of patient populations we can study for research. We are gathering real-world evidence (RWE) to understand better which cannabis products people are using and how effective they are – decipher which cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids are best for which conditions. Increase Knowledge Leafwell’s healthcare professionals become armed with the resources they need to answer patients’ questions with accuracy and clarity – increasing trust and helping people understand why cannabis is medicine. Increase Education Patients from all over the country can find out how and why they use cannabis and its effectiveness for their conditions. Requirements: Key responsibilities

• Meet with patients via our telemedicine platform with at least 20 hours of scheduled availability per week.
• Provide a high quality, compassionate experience
• After approval- submit all Puerto Rico medical cannabis certifications to the official site
• Attend all scheduled appointments with patients on time
• Work collaboratively and respond quickly to our in-house patient care team to deliver a great end to end experience
• Become part of Leafwell’s ongoing education and research programs, helping to demystify cannabis as medicine.
