We pride ourselves on providing innovative solutions for local design challenges including heavy snow loads and high seismic design criteria. Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a goal-driven Structural Design Engineer. The Structural Design Engineer will be responsible for analysis and design of structural components and systems, primarily for high-end residential homes in the Truckee/Lake Tahoe area. The role entails structural modeling in Revit, as well as producing detailed drawings, specifications, and calculations. The Structural Design Engineer will also collaborate with other engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure projects meet safety, design, construction, and quality standards. Qualifications ● 4+ years of experience in residential civil and/or structural engineering ● 3+ years experience with Autodesk Revit ● Experience with seismic engineering, snow load design, and wood framing ● BS or MS in Civil/Structural Engineering ● Professional Engineer (PE) license or willingness to obtain ● Self-motivated self-starter ● Willingness to work independently and remotely as part of a distributed team ● Tech savvy and willing to communicate regularly through Zoom/Google Meet ● Excellent written and verbal communication skills ● Professional demeanor and ability to understand opposing viewpoints ● Ability to meet deadlines and manage time efficiently Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
