Hybrid Helpdesk/Desktop Support Technician (Level 2)

Our client is seeking a skilled Level 2 Desktop Support Technician to provide advanced technical support in a fast-paced enterprise environment. This role focuses on delivering high-quality IT support to employees in a large organization, ensuring smooth operation of devices, systems, and software. This is an onsite role based in New York City, NY. Starting at $35/hour. Level 2 Desktop Support Technician Responsibilities:

  • Provide Tier 2 support for Windows-based desktops, laptops, and peripherals in a 2,000+ user environment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows OS, Active Directory (on-prem and Azure), Multi-Factor Authentication, and MDM solutions (MS Intune)
  • Manage and respond to tickets efficiently using the company's ticketing system
  • Collaborate with IT team members to escalate and resolve complex technical issues
  • Assist with onboarding, provisioning, and deprovisioning of users

Level 2 Desktop Support Technician Qualifications:

  • At least 4 years of professional IT support experience in an enterprise environment
  • Financial services experience is a significant plus
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Active Directory (on-prem and Azure)
  • Experience with Multi-Factor Authentication (MS Authenticator) and MDM tools (MS Intune)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
