Business Analyst IV

Randstad is supporting a financial firm who is seeking a senior-level Mortgage Default Subject Matter Expert to join their Business Support & Governance team. In this role, you will serve as a critical line of defense, overseeing internal and external audits, managing issue remediation, and ensuring total alignment with Investor Guidelines. This is a high-autonomy, fluid environment designed for self-starters who possess deep functional knowledge of the default lifecycle, specifically Loss Mitigation and Underwriting. salary: $54.18 - $54.19 per hour shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

• Audit Review: Handling a constant weekly internal audit (13–30 accounts per person).
• Rebuttals: Using loss mitigation knowledge to argue whether audit findings are valid or invalid.
• Issue Management: "Owning" identified issues, ensuring action plans are executed, and updating procedures.
• Data Research: Performing "look backs" to identify impacted accounts and determining remediation plans.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Regular interaction with Legal, Compliance, and Executives. Candidates must be confident enough to "speak up" to leadership if they spot a risk.
