Senior Quantitative Analyst, Trading Strategies

Our client, a highly regarded quantitative trading firm, is seeking an exceptional Senior Quantitative Analyst to join their innovative team. This fully remote role is perfect for a mathematically gifted individual with a deep understanding of financial markets and a passion for developing sophisticated trading algorithms. You will be instrumental in researching, designing, and implementing complex quantitative models for various asset classes. This position requires a strong background in statistics, econometrics, machine learning, and programming, along with the ability to translate complex theories into practical, high-performance trading strategies. You will work in a collaborative, intellectually stimulating environment with some of the brightest minds in the industry. Responsibilities: Develop, test, and deploy high-frequency trading strategies. Conduct rigorous statistical analysis and backtesting of trading models. Research and implement advanced machine learning techniques for market prediction. Collaborate with portfolio managers and traders to refine strategy performance. Analyze large datasets to identify market inefficiencies and trading opportunities. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in languages such as Python, C++, or R. Monitor and manage the performance of deployed trading systems. Contribute to the ongoing research and development of new quantitative methodologies. Stay current with academic research and industry trends in quantitative finance. Effectively communicate complex findings and strategies to both technical and non-technical audiences. Qualifications: Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as Financial Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in quantitative analysis or trading strategy development. Proven track record of developing and implementing successful trading algorithms. Expertise in statistical modeling, time series analysis, and machine learning. Strong programming skills in Python, C++, and/or R. Deep understanding of financial markets and instruments. Experience with large-scale data analysis and high-performance computing is highly desirable. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
