Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Assistant to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. As a Data Entry Assistant, you'll be responsible for performing daily reconciliation, trade, and transfer tasks for Alternate Investments. This role requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Assistant at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Performing daily reconciliation, trade, and transfer tasks for Alternate Investments
  • Refining trade buy and sell purchases in client profiles
  • Recognizing and fixing breaks identified between TD Ameritrade and the fund business or transfer brokers
  • Handling Business Activity Events, settling/reconciling move activity, and processing/reconciling dividend activity
  • Conducting investigation of complex/escalated issues
  • Executing testing/validation of new technology improvements and vendor adjustments
  • Completing assignments in Exchanging, Dividends, Transfers, Settlement, and Business Actions that directly impact the Client/Advisor profile

Responsibilities Analysis

* Customer review of membership agreements or transmission requests

  • Client/Advisor account exceptions
  • Governing commitments (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3)
  • Reconciliation of Business, Returns, and Move Breaks
  • Reconciliation across BOS and Fund Firms
  • Assessment and analysis of applicable tax code and corrections of tax coding
  • Issue Resolving:

+ Internal/External body augmentations or concerns + Source of ruptures between TDA, the Fund, etc. + Providing process or technology solution alternatives to Management + Remediating transfer issues with the Fund or Contra Company + Answering company companion questions relating to Fund specific requirements/eligibility + Providing follow-up on Substitute Investment transactions to expedite the customer request or remediate not in good order concerns + Prompt and exact finalization of customer investing and returns demands

Essential Qualifications

* 2+ years of experience in data entry, customer service, or a related field

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in the financial industry or a related field

  • Knowledge of tax code and regulations
  • Familiarity with TD Ameritrade and/or fund business systems
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting
  • Certification in data entry, customer service, or a related field
