<p><strong>Job Description</strong><br /> This is a remote position.</p> <p>An established photography business is seeking a remote Business Development Manager who will be responsible for expanding client base on a national level. This position is remote, approximately 4 hours per day &#8211; 6 months fixed term contract (with prospect of renewal or permanency)</p> <p>This role is critical to broader expansion and revenue strategy for the business. The ideal candidate will be expected to actively seek out and secure opportunities across multiple client segments:</p> <ul> <li>Corporate / Commercial Clients – including professional services firms, events, product launches, executive headshots</li> <li>Residential / Lifestyle Clients – such as families, individuals, creatives, influencers, and personal shoots</li> <li>Partnerships with Other Creative and Marketing Agencies – offering visual content support, campaign execution, or white-labelled services</li> <li>Galleries, Studios, and Exhibitions – collaborating with curators, independent artists, and public creative spaces</li> <li>Tenders &amp; Institutional Clients – including proposals for municipalities, development agencies, education &amp; non-profit sector projects</li> </ul> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Generate qualified leads and manage the full sales pipeline</li> <li>Present the photography’s service catalogue and convert enquiries into bookings</li> <li>Liaise with clients to ensure briefs are complete and aligned with service standards</li> <li>Track leads, commissions, and performance via internal dashboards and tools</li> </ul> <p>A separate performance-based commission model will be introduced directly with the candidate, based on</p> <ul> <li>Closed deals and booking conversions</li> <li>Recurring contracts or retainer sign-on</li> <li>Upselling licensing and value-added services</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements</strong><br /> Ideal Candidate Profile:</p> <ul> <li>Experience: Minimum 5 years&#8217; in client-facing sales, brand partnerships, or agency business development</li> <li>Personality: Charismatic, proactive, and creatively inclined — able to sell premium services with confidence</li> <li>Bonus: Familiarity with the creative industries, digital content, photography, or events</li> </ul> <p>Hours of Work: Part-time<br /> Location Type: Remote (Work from Home)<br /> Industry: Media<br /> Job Type: Fixed Term<br /> Salary: R 18 000<br /> Remuneration Term: Per Month</p>
