Come and join a dynamic, ground-breaking team that is changing the way consumers make automotive purchase decisions.</p><p><em><strong>This is a CONTRACT/1099 position. You would be an independent contractor and paid a flat rate by our company for your services</strong></em>. Jobs typically pay between $65-150 per inspection with most inspections taking less than an hour</p><p><br></p><p><strong>AS A CONTRACTOR (1099)</strong></p><p>- Set your own schedule</p><p>- Negotiate your rate(s)</p><p>- Accept the jobs you want</p><p>- Set your work area</p><p>Requirements</p><p><strong>REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE</strong></p><p>- A minimum of 2 years of automotive technician/mechanic experience</p><p>- You must be detailed-oriented</p><p>- You must be dependable with reliable transportation</p><p>- You need to be able to use a cell-phone and computer</p><p>- Provide good customer service and communication skills</p><p>- Have the ability to work independently and have a self-starter attitude</p><p><br></p><p><strong>PHYSICAL AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS</strong></p><p>- Walk, bend, stoop, or stand to complete the required tasks</p><p>- Ability to drive to the vehicle location, using your own vehicle</p><p>- Be available during business hours</p><p>- Ability to complete assignments within a 48-hour window during daylight hours</p><p>- Supply your own equipment and tools to complete the job</p><p><br></p><p><u><strong>The following tools are required prior to your first assignment:</strong></u></p><p>- Tire tread gauge</p><p>- Code reader or OBD II Scanner</p><p>- A valid state driver's license along with current vehicle insurance and registration</p><p>- Commercial automotive insurance required</p><p>- Cell-phone or camera that takes photos</p><p>- A magnet or Paint thickness gauge</p><p><br></p><p>#LS01</p>
